A beautiful sunflower in black and white..
To me there's so much more to black and white photos than just black on one spectrum and white on the other. Because by clever usage of contrast, tone and lighting, and deciding which shape and line to be distinguished, the photo can bring forth emotions. And sometimes an element of mystery that colour photos cannot capture. Thus a black and white photo communicates by the way it is composed.
I usually take time to study any black and white postcard that reaches me and check how it makes me feel..
