A Pasticceria is an Italian pastry shop. You can go early in the morning for a nice pastry or biscotti (some serve coffee as well) or in the afternoon for a sweet. You will sometimes find good Italian ice cream, gelato, especially in a smaller town that might not have a  gelateria.

Golly! I'd like to peep into this pasticceria to see what they have that I can indulge on!! Yummy! Never say diet!!!!

10 Downing Street, is the official residence of British Prime Ministers since 1735. The building is much larger than it appears from its frontage. 

One interesting fact: No 10 Downing Street is one of the most heavily guarded buildings in Britain. The front door cannot be opened from the outside because it has no handle, and no one can enter the building without passing through a scanner and a set of security gates manned by armed guards. However, in the first five years after Tony Blair became prime minister, 37 computers, four mobile phones, two cameras, a mini-disc player, a video recorder, four printers, two projectors and a bicycle were stolen from the building...

Alienne writes that this is a door of a German farm house and that the residents are probably celebrating a festive occasion due to the garland placed there. The words over the door mean that the farm house was rebuilt after a fire.

Maybe the garland is to celebrate that fact.
