Witney
Sender: Duplevista
'W' is for 'Witney'!
Witney - The Cotswolds -England
Witney's fame and fortune grew from the weaving industry which was established here from early times.
Witney is the largest town in the Oxfordshire Cotswolds. It looks like a peaceful, tranquil haven. But somehow it brings to my mind the TV series, "Midsomer Murders" which I used to follow diligently! I can just picture Inspector Barnaby striding through this street, on his way to solve yet another murder mystery :)
