Sammallahdenmäki

Sammallahdenmäki is a Bronze age burial site in Lappi municipality and a designated UNESCO World Heritage Site (1999). It consists of 33 stone cairns, dating mainly from the Bronze Age (1500-500 B.C.) 

The structures were built using granite boulders that were quarried from the cliff face below the crest of the ridge or collected from the site itself.

The New Garden is one of the ensembles comprising the UNESCO World Heritage Site "Palaces and Parks of Potsdam and Berlin". Sanssoucci is the former summer palace of Frederick the Great, King of Prussia. It was builtbetween 1745 and 1747. 

I love this place and would like to visit it, but I would huff and puff for sure, climbing up those stairs. But the views would be well worth the climb! 


Kronborg Castle

It is one of northern Europe's most important Renaissance castles. Known all over the world from Shakespeare's Hamlet, it is also the most famous castle in Denmark. 

If I ever get the chance to visit this beautiful castle, I want to stand somewhere in its grounds taking a video clip of me quoting: "To be, or not to be: that is the question"!!

Yes..yes...only dorks like me will do these kind of things... :D
