I had to wait in the queue for the book once it was released...and then I had to wait for the first part of the movie to be released (which I did get to watch)...and then I had to wait for the second part to be released (which I did get to watch also). So all in all for me, "The Deathly Hallows" was a lot to do with waiting! :-D

      On Sunday morning, Uncle Vernon sat down at the breakfast table looking tired and rather ill, but happy. "No post on Sundays, " he reminded them cheerfully as he spread marmalade on his newspapers, "No damn letters today...."

 

     Something came whizzing down the kitchen chimney as he spoke and caught him sharply on the back of the head. 

     Next moment, thirty or forty letters came pelting out of the fireplace like bullets. The Dursleys ducked, but Harry leapt into the air trying to catch one. 

    "Out! OUT!" Uncle Vernon seized Harry around the waist and threw him into the hall.

I received a lovely gift of Harry Potter themed Happy Families card game pack! TQ Riet for this unexpected gift! I used to play "Happy Families" when in primary school a long time ago. To get a Harry Potter box of cards unexpectedly was a really awesome feeling! :-)

"Harry Potter!" said the creature in a high-pitched voice Harry was sure would carry down the stairs. "So long has Dobby wanted to meet you, sir ... Such an honour it is ... "

"Th-thank you," said Harry, edging along the wall and sinking into his desk chair, next to Hedwig, who was asleep in her large cage. He wanted to ask, "What are you?" but thought it would sound too rude, so instead he said, "Who are you?"

"Dobby, sir. Just Dobby. Dobby the house-elf," said the creature.
