A Pasticceria is an Italian pastry shop. You can go early in the morning for a nice pastry or biscotti (some serve coffee as well) or in the afternoon for a sweet. You will sometimes find good Italian ice cream, gelato, especially in a smaller town that might not have a  gelateria.

Golly! I'd like to peep into this pasticceria to see what they have that I can indulge on!! Yummy! Never say diet!!!!

'S' - for the couple 'Strolling' on a 'Scary' path overlooking the 'Sea'! Historically, this is a trail created between two Cinque Terre towns, Riomaggiore and Manarola, which helped bring lovers from the separate towns  together. The Pathway of Love or something like that. Awwww..I'm a sucker for romantic tales (heart melting).

WSR informed that he bought a shoebox full of hundreds of postcards at an estate sale. And this postcard was one of them. Wasn't he lucky? I don't think I can ever get postcards for sale at the flea markets or car boot sales here! :)

I've been to Italy many years ago but never made it to Rome. Pebbles84 offered to send touristy postcards from there and luckily, I made it to her RR group (Choose A Country RR). And this is the postcard she sent, of The Pantheon, Rome! The Pantheon is the best preserved Roman monument with the biggest brick dome in the history of architecture.  According to Roman legend, it is the place where the founder of Rome, Romulus, at his death was seized by an eagle and taken off into the skies with the Gods. But in actuality, it contains the tombs of important Italians like Rafael and of several Italian Kings.

Truly a magnificent building!
