This brilliant postcard made me laugh out loud! Yes, "Urinal" means toilet but we don't use that term for the general public in my country. Which term do you usually use to refer to the toilet?

The washroom, restroom, bathroom, lavatory, water closet, w.c.? 

The loo, the porcelain goddess, the crapper, the throne, the gents/the ladies or the john…?  

It pays to know the correct term when travelling and especially, the native language for it! :-)

Republic of Korea Pavillion

The theme for the Republic of Korea Pavillion is "Friendly City, Colourful Life". The Korean alphabet and artistic patterns are employed as the coat of the building, interpreting a future city combined with technology and culture. The bottom layer of the pavillion is overhead, which is internally equipped with a three-dimensional city map at 1:300 scale.

Al-Attarine Madrasa

The Al-Attarine Madrasa is a madrasa (educational institution) in Fez, Morocco. It is located in the spiritual centre of Fez, near the Mosque of al-Qarawiyyin. The madrasa's location at the entrance to the spice and perfume market gives al-Attarine, the madrasa of the perfumers, its name. It was commissioned by the Marinid Sultan Uthman II b. Ya'qub, Abu Sa'id (r. 1310-31) in 1323/723 AH and completed in 1325/725 AH.

I was here with two other friends during our vacation in Morocco about 3 weeks ago. It is one of the most beautifully decorated buildings I've ever seen!

I love Oxford because I used to live in a town down south, where I could take the cheap slow public bus (using the winding rustic roads, passing by thatched roof cottages) to go up north to Oxford and spend some time there....just for fun with my crazy bunch of friends!
