Great Ocean Road is a 243km stretch of road along the south-eastern coast of Australia. It winds alongside the wild and windswept Southern Ocean from Geelong to Portland, passing by surf beaches, historic ports, whale lookouts, breathtaking mountain ranges, rainforests and national parks. Apparently you can’t miss "the Twelve Apostles", the famous craggy limestone stacks rising majestically from the Southern Ocean.
I read that many of the natural features have surrounding walks. There is even a 91km Great Ocean Walk. That's it! When can I go there??!! (Though I may only last for less than 1km on that walk...thereafter I may seriously be in need of a piggyback ride!)
