Bretagne
Sender: Lapoussine35
Text on Card: The Glories of Bretagne. The end of the earth.
I read that Bretagne (Brittany) occupies a peninsula at the northwestern corner of France, separating La Manche (the English Channel) from the Golfe de Gascogne (Bay of Biscay). Brittany’s coast is both rugged and indented and there are many cliffs, capes, islands, rocks and reefs. In this card two lighthouses can be seen. I read further that Brittany alone accounts for more than one third of all the lighthouses and fire towers illuminating the French coast. Wow, that is a lot!
