Death Valley National Park is in the state of California, U.S.A. It is the lowest point in North America and one of the hottest places in the world, containing a diverse desert environment of salt-flats, sand dunes, badlands, valleys, canyons, and mountains.
Ansel Adams (Feb. 20 1902 — Apr. 22, 1984) was a photographer and environmentalist best known for his black & white photographs capturing America's wild beauty.
