Fort San Pedro is the oldest and smallest fort in the Phillipines, built in the 1500's as a military defense structure under the command of the Spanish conquestador, Miguel Lopez de Legazpi.
Today it serves as a National Museum and a historical park where Spanish artifacts, paintings, sculptures, sword fragments, canyos, helmets and Ming porcelain pieces of all various sizes and coins are displayed.
