Częstochowa is a city in south Poland. It is famous for the Monastery of Jasna Gora, where the Black Madonna Painting is kept. Because of the Black Madonna painting, Częstochowa is regarded as the most popular shrine in Poland, with many Catholics making a pilgrimage there every year.
