Windmills At Kinderdijk

Sender: pebbles84
Windmills at Kinderdijk, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Even though windmills are famous world attractions, pebbles84 writes that she has never been to see them.

The Netherlands is certainly famous for its windmills. And nowhere in the world will you find as many windmills (well preserved to the present day) as near Kinderdijk, a Dutch village. [Kinderdijk means "Children's dike" in Dutch]. In 1997 the mills of Kinderdijk were put on the World Heritage List of UNESCO.
