Hotel Kaiserworth, Goslar

Sender: Danyel
Goslar/Harz
Hotel Kaiserworth (500 years old).

Goslar is a medieval town which has not changed in essence since its foundation. This town sits on the northeast edge of the Harz mountains. It owes its wealth and prosperity from Rammelsberg Mine (which closed in 1988), where silver, copper and zinc used to be mined. In 1992 the old town and the mine, were entered on the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage List. Danyel works in Goslar, how nice to be working at a spot which is on the UNESCO list!

P/S. Do you realise that at the bottom left of the card, there is a statue of a man excreting gold coins?! ;-)
