Semper Opera in Dresden

Dresden's Semper Opera House is the most famous opera house in Germany; it houses the Saxon State Orchestra, one of the world's oldest and best-known orchestras. It was built in 1841 by the German architect Gottfried Semper and is situated at the Theater Square in the heart of Dresden. The portal of the Semper Opera depicts famous artists such as Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, Friedrich Schiller, William Shakespeare, Molière, and Euripides.

Do you like opera as an entertainment? What about Carmen, La Traviata, Aida, Madama Butterfly, the Marriage of Figaro and many many others? :)
