Jane informs that Anton Chekhov is the one seated on the left and the other is Leo Tolstoy, both famous Russian writers and that this is from a photo taken by Leo Tolstoy's wife, Sofia.
Jane asks whether I've read anything written by them. Yes, in my teens, but only Tolstoy's "War and Peace" and "Anna Karenina". I've also seen the classic movie "War and Peace" starring Audrey Hepburn and Henry Fonda.
