Elizabeth Gurley Flynn

Elizabeth Gurley Flynn (1890-1964), American labour organiser. She lived most of her life on the lines, from strikes an free speech demonstrations to anti-war, pro-labour political activities. She wrote, lectured and organised on women's issues, demanding both equal pay and protective legislation.
