Apple blossom in the Altes Land near Hamburg
Altes Land, a German region stretching along the Elbe river between Hamburg, Buxtehude and Stade, is particularly beautiful in spring, when the scent of apple, pear and cherry blossoms fill the air and the orchards are a mass of pastel hues.
