One of my favourites!
We have fireflies too, in our part of the world. When night falls, the fireflies will feed on the nectar of their favourite leaves and attract mates with their synchronised flashing green light. I was told that fireflies have a lifespan of about 2-3 months. That surely fits the phrase, "Life's too short!"
